Learning how to paint with oil is the typical medium for most apprentice artists. This way of studying to paint is great because you can correct it very easily. Another great part of oil painting is finding a decent painting box to gather your materials in. You'll find any type of material for boxes, metal or wood. If you choose an unstained wooden box, make sure to stain it so if too much paint gets on it you can just wipe it aside.
